INVEST IN THE NEW GENERATION
Support Students of Knowledge

In June 2016, Imam Hamzah Abdul-Malik delivered a moving recitation of Quran to honor the passing of boxing legend and social activist, Muhammad Ali. This momentous experience inspired him to establish the Yarrow Mamout Scholarship Fund that provides tuition, room, and board to enable young Muslims from underserved communities in the U.S. to learn the skills needed to engage and inspire the broader American community.

Our Vision

Miraaj Academy was founded with the goal of educating and developing the next generation of American Islamic scholarship Insha Allah.

Our Mission

Focus on developing community-minded leadership through the study of traditional Islamic sciences and hands-on service oriented learning experiences.

Help Young Students Reach their goals

So we need your support." ~ Imam Zaid Shakir

Why is this so Important?

Many young Muslims have the desire to learn Islam but limited access to educational opportunities that will help them reach their spiritual potential. Miraaj Academy was created to provide young American Muslims from diverse backgrounds an opportunity to learn traditional Islam and to serve one of the most disadvantaged urban communities. Listen to what they have to say about this unique educational experience.

Board of Advisors
